“I think there is something kind of magical about the ephemeral and communal nature of theatre. In an increasingly alienating society, I really do believe there's something special and wonderful about live performance's temporality, this notion of sharing a theatrical experience with your fellow spectators and the actors. I guess I really do agree with Adorno's idea that theatre has a homeopathic quality, this idea that theatre can be a place where humanity can come together and recover from an alienated Self.”
